This is one of the 3 pools at Meadow Hot Springs in Millard County, UT. We swam around in here for an hour before soaking in the hotter pool.
Our campsite at Arch Rock campground in the Valley of Fire State Park NV, September 2013. We spent the night here on the way back to LA from Meadow Hot Spring because it was close to Rogers Warm Spring. We tried soaking at Rogers but someone dumped aquarium fish in the pond and we didn’t want to get bit.
Here is my torso and legs as I dive into Burney Falls out in Shasta County. This water was as close to freezing as it gets.
Landbrotalaug hot spring on the southern end of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. It was super windy out so I took this photo real fast before I jumped in the pool. Spent a few hours here alone, it was amazing.

This is a pedestrian tunnel under the 405 Freeway in Long Beach California, my ex-girlfriend Nicole Ridinger took me here back in the summer of 2000. We drank 40’s and made out. She told me a story about how someone hung himself here, I’m not sure if she knew the guy personally.
Gina Clyne with her Yashica and book stack tripod. I shot this back in 2005 when I lived in Silverlake with the Pia sisters.
This hot spring is called Hrunalaug, it lies next to a farm in the middle of nowhere Iceland. For many years this place was used as a sheep’s bath by the landowner, now anyone can come soak for free as long as they want. I showed up at 4 in the morning, slept in the car for a few hours then woke up and hiked into this place. I soaked for hours here, ate breakfast read a bit and shot some photos. I imagine this is how hobbits live.
